LiteTouch Demonstrates new kORE CCU at 2011 CEDIA Expo

September 8, 2011 - Salt Lake City - LiteTouch, a leading manufacturer of lighting control systems, is showing their development progress on the new kORE CCU at the 2011 CEDIA Expo.

The kORE CCU shown for the first time at the CEDIA Expo 2010 will now be shown with active menuing screens and installation box for landing incoming wire.  The company has announced that the new CCU will be available for shipment in May 2012.

“We have made significant development progress” commented Angie Larson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at LiteTouch.  “It is imperative that we take the time necessary to include the functionality our dealers are asking us for, both in a wired-installation and a wireless-installation.”

The kORE CCU will replace the LiteTouch Standard CCU, the lighting control industry’s first residential lighting control processor first sold by the company in 1986.  Like the Standard CCU the kORE CCU includes a built-in interface for adjusting programming, adding timers and to quickly access real-time control and other system diagnostics.

The kORE CCU will be offered as an alternative to the company’s flagship controller, the FIVEk CCU, with a mid-range price point.  In addition to being able to be installed in traditional LiteTouch wired installations, it will also be available with a built-in RF antenna for installation into new LiteTouch wireless installations in conjunction with LiteTouch Hybrid Wall Box Dimmers.

LiteTouch will be displaying the functionality of the kORE CCU at their CEDIA Expo Booth #3337.  The kORE CCU will also be highlighted during the company’s manufacturer’s training sessions during the show.
